CLS Expands in Boston

CLS, Hartford, Conn., continued its expansion in Massachusetts with the opening of two new facilities. The company, which ranks No. 28 on EW's Top 200 list with $220 million in sales, opened a new 100,000-square-foot facility in Westwood, Mass., and an 8,500-square-foot distribution center in Bridgewater, Mass., which will serve Abington, Brockton, Halifax, Hanson, Kingston, Middleboro, Raynham, Rockland, and Whitman, Mass.

The company, which ranks No. 28 on EW's Top 200 list with $220 million in sales, opened a new 100,000-square-foot facility in Westwood, Mass., and an 8,500-square-foot distribution center in Bridgewater, Mass., which will serve Abington, Brockton, Halifax, Hanson, Kingston, Middleboro, Raynham, Rockland, and Whitman, Mass.

The Westwood facility will service the greater Boston area, including the towns of Cambridge, Chelsea, Dedham, Malden, Medford, Milton, Quincy, Revere, Somerville, Watertown, and Winthrop, Mass.

Like all CLS locations, the new locations will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Service and support include CLS' Midnight Express overnight delivery service, which guarantees delivery to the job site by 6 a.m.; an emergency service hotline; and the CLS Service Guarantee of the top 200 items in stock at all locations, 100 percent order accuracy, will-calls ready on time, and credit on stock material returns issued within one business day.

In related expansion news at CLS, the company's Cranston, R.I., location recently celebrated the anniversary of its first year in business. The company celebrated with special “One Day Deals” from a group of manufacturers, door prizes, a luncheon, and a grand prize giveaway of a 20-inch flat screen television.
