To commemorate and celebrate a recent move into its new 37,000-square-foot service center in San Antonio, Summit Electric Supply Co. gave away two 2003 Kawasaki Bayou 250 ATVs as part of its “Leader of the Pack” promotion. Roland Ornelaz of Lanehart Electric and Kyle Ross from Ross Electric were the recipients of the ATVS. The two ATV winners also enjoyed good barbeque and some Texas-style, toe-tapping music at the culminating event of the three month promotion.

Klein Tools, Lithonia Lighting, Halo Lighting, Osram/Sylvania and Cutler-Hammer co-sponsored Summit's “Leader of the Pack” promotion and had manufacturer representatives on hand at the grand giveaway event. Guests were encouraged to stop by vendor tables to qualify for other prize drawing. No one left empty-handed.

“We want our neighbors and business associates to come by and help us celebrate our new Service Center,” said Joe Chesky, regional vice president, who oversees the San Antonio operation. “We have a world-class operation here in San Antonio and we wanted a chance to show it off. We are grateful to those companies who have helped us expand in San Antonio.”

Headquartered in Albuquerque, N.M., Summit has served the wholesale electrical market since 1977. The distributor was No. 34 on Electrical Wholesaling's 2002 list of the 250 Biggest electrical distributors.
