Omni Cable Donates to Maternal & Child Health Consortium

Omni Cable, West Chester, Pa., and its employee-owners give every year around the holidays to area needy families and the USMC-sponsored Toys for Tots program. This year they decided to give throughout the year and not just during the holidays, so the company teamed up with the United Way of Chester County to do just that.

Omni hosted a company BBQ to kick off the drive. Guests from the United Way talked to the Omni employees about the Maternal & Child Health Consortium, an organization which helps ensure a healthy beginning for all children by reducing barriers to care and the factors contributing to low birth weight and infant mortality.

The employees at Omni Cable purchased diapers, wipes, newborn clothing, infant toiletries and other items for the donation, which was delivered directly to the Maternal & Child Health Consortium in West Chester, Pa.
