Datalliance, Cincinnati, recently opened its European headquarters office in Brussels, Belgium, in the Glocal Solutions office building in a business park just five minutes from the Brussels International Airport. The company opened the European operation to support the continued growth of its vendor-managed inventory (VMI) systems internationally. Datalliance has seen 26% growth per year over the past seven years and today supports over 14,000 customer sites, 14 million SKUs and $11 billion in VMI transactions.
“The opening of our European headquarters is an important milestone in the growth of Datalliance,” said Carl Hall, the company's CEO and president. “We have been preparing for this for well over a year by building our customer care capabilities and adding the resources needed to be successful in Europe. Our work with the European headquartered operations of our existing U.S. customers to expand their VMI programs in Europe has been the driving force to solidify our European footprint.”
Datalliance is used by manufacturers to provide VMI services for both industrial and consumer products in 15 countries within Europe. Overall, Datalliance is being used by manufacturers to manage thousands of inventory locations in 41 countries world-wide, including hundreds of locations in South America, Asia and Australia, in addition to North America and Europe.
