Industrial Bag Promotes Safety

The rugged Safety Power Bag including Leviton industrial products, an $800 value, is available through Leviton industrial distributors for $150. The Power Safety Bag is made from a heavy-duty, waterproof, high-visibility yellow marine vinyl fabric. Lightweight and highly portable, the bag comes with the following safety devices: A manual reset 3-foot GFCI cordset with a 15A/125V Wetguard plug and connector that's compliant with OSHA regulations; a GFCI-protected fluorescent Work-Light featuring a NEMA 5-15 receptacle; an On/Off power switch; 13W lamp and 20-foot power cord with an in-line ground fault circuit interrupter (auto reset); a circuit alert voltage detector for power in the 70V to 440V ac range with an LED that glows to indicate power is active; and a companion circuit alert receptacle tester suitable for 110-125V ac circuits and using a combination of red and amber test lights to signal improper wiring conditions.
