The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW), Washington, DC, has opened registration for its 2018 Distribution Program for Rising Stars. The five-day intensive training program will be held June 11–15, at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
Participants will spend five days learning specific ways to improve their companies’ profitability, said an NAW release. Topics cross the entire scope of distribution business including sales management, value-added services, market-focused strategic planning, supply chain management, strategic business analysis, managing business relationships, financial management, human resources, improving productivity and more.
The program combines classroom instruction and small-group teamwork all centered on a specially designed wholesale distribution industry case study. Faculty at OSU’s Fisher College of Business includes many with deep experience in teaching wholesale distribution industry rising stars. In addition to classroom teaching and exercises, participants can network with peers from other lines of trade within distribution.
