    Cisco's Himanshu Mehra Joins Smart Lighting Panel @ Penton Media's IoTEmerge Event on Nov. 3

    Himanshu Mehra, Senior Manager, Product Management for IoT and Switching platforms at Cisco Systems, has joined Smart Lighting Panel to be held at Penton's IoTEmerge event in Chicago on Nov. 3.

As one of the first members of Cisco's Digital Ceiling initiative Himanshu is responsible for driving Cisco's Digital Ceiling vision, strategy and roadmap. He has several years of experience in various engineering, marketing and business development roles. He holds an MS in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo and an MBA from UCLA Anderson.

    He joins Ken Walma, the V.P. & general manager for Eaton's Ambient & Controls Solutions business unit; Eric Lind,  Vice President, Global Specifications, Lutron Electronics Co. Inc., Coopersburg, Pa.,; Gary Trott, V.P. of Intelligent Lighting for Cree Inc., Durham, N.C.; and Chris Gersch, founder of Verde Solutions, a Chicago-based energy consulting firm, and Ted Konnerth, the president and CEO of Egret Consulting, Mundelin, Ill., and moderator Jim Lucy, Electrical Wholesaling's chief editor.

    ​Ken Walma is the V.P. and general manager of the Ambient and Controls solution business for Eaton’s lighting business. In this position, Ken has P&L responsibility for commercial, specification, and industrial ambient lighting products, the global lighting controls portfolio, and the business Smart Building connectivity strategy conducting business in over 90 countries.
