Kichler Earns Top Honors from Low Voltage Lighting Institute

April 1, 2006
Kichler Lighting out of Cleveland Ohio earned top honors at February's Low Voltage Lighting Institute of the Americas.

It was a repeat performance for Kichler at February's Low Voltage Lighting Institute of the Americas (LVLIA) conference. For the second straight year, Kichler Lighting, Cleveland, was honored as manufacturer of the year by this organization of contractors, manufacturers, lighting designers and landscape architects from the United States and Canada.

Members voted on manufacturers from across the country to decide the winner of its second Manufacturer of the Year award. LVLIA recognized Kichler for its dedication to the organization, its support of the industry and its professional service to clients in the business of low-voltage landscape and architectural lighting.

“Kichler is extremely honored to have been recognized, not once, but twice, by a group that shares our passion for building and improving the lighting industry,” said Jack Miller, Kichler's vice president of sales lighting systems.

Kichler joined the organization, whose members have the common goal of improving the low-voltage lighting industry, five years ago and has been an active member ever since.

Founded in 1938, Kichler manufactures decorative lighting fixtures and lamps. Its products include table lamps, floor lamps, torchieres, bath and kitchen lighting, outdoor lanterns, chandeliers and wall sconces, as well as lifestyle-accent pieces such as tables, mirrors and accessories.
