Friedman Electric Supply Co., Exeter, Pa. recently opened a new location in Ithaca, N.Y.
Benny Teitelbaum, a 12-year industry veteran, will be the Ithaca branch’s new manager. Teitelbaum was previously an inside salesperson for the company’s Wilkes Barre branch. Eight employees are now working at the new location, which has a 3,000-square-foot lighting showroom for consumers, designers, architects and contractors and a large counter area.
In business for over 65 years, the 12-location family-owned company has locations throughout northeast and central Pennsylvania, including Scranton, Wilkes Barre, Exeter, Stroudsburg, Hazelton, State College, Bloomsburg, Selingsgrove, Brodheadsville, Athens and Bethlehem. The company was #77 on Electrical Wholesaling’s Top 200 listing of the largest electrical distributors.
