CES Opens New Branch in Chattanooga

May 6, 2020
The new branch, led by Branch Manager Bryan Newberry, will support the area's growing market of schools, healthcare facilities, manufacturing plants and more.

City Electric Supply (CES) recently announced that is has opened the doors to its new location in Chattanooga, TN.

"I couldn't think of anywhere else I would rather be," said Branch Manager Bryan Newberry in the release. "With the area's growth over the last few years, with the many new schools, health facilities, and manufacturing plants, I know we are going to be successful."

The branch team worked together to build the showroom, warehouse and stock the store in just a few short months, but the branch’s journey started long before then. Newberry and District Manager Kevin Feidler worked diligently together to land a great building. They spent four months searching for one that would be in an ideal area. And once they secured the perfect building, a general contractor was hired, and renovations were quickly finished. Construction was expected to take about three months, Newberry added, but it ended up only taking four weeks.

Newberry has been with CES for about a year but has nearly 20 years of experience in the construction, electrical and automation fields. With electrical, automation and mechanical contractors as well as several engineering firms and training facilities in the area, Newberry believes the branch will be a home to customers of all different backgrounds.

“My team goes above and beyond to not only provide several products but added value to everyone," he said. "It doesn’t matter if the customer is a homeowner, a manufacturer, or a residential, commercial or industrial contractor.”

His team has 30 years of combined experience, and according to Newberry, does a good job of sourcing any material requested as quickly as possible, so he believes they will be more than successful and is excited to represent CES in Chattanooga.
