Carlo Gavazzi, Buffalo Grove, Ill., set out awhile back to fulfill a global policy to show its respect for the environment, and announced recently that it had finished the job: now all manufacturing locations worldwide for the company's Automation Components business unit are certified according to the International Standard ISO 14001:2004. ISO 14001 is the global standard for establishing and maintaining an effective Environmental Management System (EMS).

To obtain this certification, the company demonstrated a commitment to reduce its environmental impact through responsible and compliant actions and a commitment to continuous improvement within the EMS framework.
