Cooper Electric Supply Among the 50 Best Places to Work in New Jersey
Cooper Electric Supply Co., Tinton Falls, N.J., was named one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey.
One of 25 winners in the category for companies with more than 250 employees, Cooper Electric was placed on the list as a result of a multi-stage evaluation and selection process. The award program, created in 2005, is produced by NJBIZ magazine.
“Being named as one of the 50 Best Places to Work in New Jersey is a great achievement,” says Michael Dudas, president of Cooper Electric Supply Co. “It could not have been possible without all of the hard work and dedication of our employees. We thank them for everything they do everyday. It is their commitment, work ethic, and loyalty that makes Cooper one of the Best Places to Work. Throughout the years, Cooper Electric has never lost sight of why we are in business — our people and our customers. We are clearly the leader in the markets that we serve, and our continued growth and success are due to the ideas and energy of our employees.”
Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the 50 Best Places to Work in New Jersey. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in New Jersey with assistance from ModernThink LLC, who analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
Cooper Electric will be recognized and honored at the Best Places to Work in New Jersey evening awards ceremony later this month.
