Hein Electric Supply Co., Brookfield, Wis., teamed up with Minerallac/Cully to sponsor a sales promotion and special events to raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a national organization supporting breast cancer education and research.

Hein sales staff donated their October incentive earnings for the cause, and the company donated $1 for every package of Minerallac/Cully fasteners sold during the month. Two contractor events at Hein Electric Supply's locations in Milwaukee and Wales featured lunch from local restaurants and raffles that raised additional money for the organization. In all, the efforts raised $4,000 for breast cancer education and research.

“The lives of so many people have been touched by breast cancer in one way or another,” says Laura Longston, marketing manager. “Because of this, we wanted to help Susan Komen for the Cure in the fight against this terrible disease. We are proud of the support we received from our customers, vendors and our local communities.”
