The New York City section of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IESNYC) is hosting an educational forum on the state-of-the-art in lighting control systems. On Oct. 20, IESNYC's ControlThis! 2011 will include a lecture series and tradeshow at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York, “dedicated to advancing the education of the lighting, engineering and design community on lighting controls systems and energy management technologies,” said an IESNYC release.
The IESNYC announced its lineup of educational programming on lighting control systems and energy management technology, which features a track on construction and commissioning of lighting control systems and a track on design, plus an Innovation Place full of tabletop demonstrations of “not ready for market” technologies and processes.
