The F. D. Lawrence Electric Co.'s operation in Sidney, Ohio, has been purchased by the management team from that facility. Doug Christie, Gary Heitmeyer and Richard Brooks, with combined experience exceeding 60 years, are the new owners.
The new company, FDL Automation and Supply, will continue to represent the industry's premier automation control and electrical manufacturing, companies like Allen-Bradley, GE, Siemens, Bussmann, Hoffmann, Hubbell, Crouse-Hinds, and Lithonia, to mention a few.
“The company remains committed to maintaining the high level of service our customers have come to know and expect from us with the best products available in the marketplace,” said Christie, company president.
FDL Automation and Supply will remain in its current facility.
“In many ways our customers won't even know anything has changed,” said Brooks, vice president of operations. “We will continue to keep our entire support team abreast of the latest technologies in an effort to be a valued resource for those who come to us for assistance. The same staff that has helped our customers meet their electrical control and supply needs in the past, will still be here.”
“Plans for the future include the addition of new support personnel, increasing local inventories and integrating new business systems that will enable customers to access information and products in a more timely and efficient manner,” said Heitmeyer, vice president of sales.
