Promotions and new appointments.

Siemens Energy and Automation Inc. (Atlanta): Dennis Sadlowski has been appointed president and chief executive officer effective July 1. Sadlowski succeeds Aubert Martin, who is retiring after 40 years of service with Siemens. Sadlowski started at SE&A in 2000 as vice president and general manager of the Electrical Apparatus business unit in Atlanta. From 2003 to 2006, Sadlowski relocated to Germany where he led the Siemens Automation and Drives Sensors business. In 2006, as part of the planned succession, he returned to Atlanta and SE&A as chief operating officer, while concurrently managing the Power Distribution & Controls Division. Prior to joining Siemens, Sadlowski accrued nearly two decades of industry experience with GE and Thomas & Betts Corp.

Generac (Jackson, Miss.): Aaron Jagdfeld, Generac's chief financial officer, has been named president of the corporation as part of the management transition brought about by the sale of the company to CCMP Capital Advisors and the retirement of Robert D. Kern. Jagdfeld joined Generac in June of 1994 as a staff accountant and will continue to handle the responsibilities of CFO. The other two members of Generac's senior executive team are Dawn Tabat, chief operating officer, and Bill Treffert, chief executive officer.

Coleman Cable Inc. (CCI, Waukegan, Ill.): The company recently announced a number of organizational changes that coincide with the recent acquisition of Copperfield LLC, Bremen, Ind., and position the company for future growth. Rich Carr will remain the CEO of Copperfield and join the CCI executive management team as an executive vice president. Carr has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, co-founding Copperfield in 1990. Mike Frigo has been appointed president of Copperfield, and will be senior vice president of CCI and a member of the executive management team. Frigo most recently served as COO of Copperfield. Gene Stang has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing for the Copperfield division, reporting to Frigo. He will also retain responsibility for the wire and cable business unit at Coleman Cable. Stang has held numerous roles in manufacturing, distribution, sales and marketing during his 20-plus years with Coleman Cable. Jeff Johnston has been appointed to executive vice president of operations of CCI. He has been with the company for 12 years. Ken McAllister has been appointed to senior vice president of Coleman Cable. In addition to his responsibilities for the Specialty and Consumer groups of Coleman Cable, McAllister has assumed responsibility for the Electrical Distribution business unit. He joined Coleman Cable in 2002 as vice president, Wire & Cable. Kurt Hennelly has been appointed to senior vice president of Supply Chain. Hennelly has been with Coleman Cable for 20 years, most recently serving as group vice president, Consumer Group and Global Sourcing. Kathy Jo Van has been appointed to senior vice president of Corporate Marketing and Business Development. Van has 20 years in the electrical industry. Most recently, she served as group vice president, Electrical Group.

Columbia Electric Supply Inc. (Brockton, Mass.): Dan Oliveira has joined the company as an outside sales representative. He will be based in the company's Taunton, Mass., location and will cover the southeastern Massachusetts market. Oliveira began working in the electrical wholesaling business with Mass Gas and Electric. In an unrelated work effort, he has gained fame taking on the role of an Elvis impersonator. He has appeared as Elvis on cruise ships along the East Coast.

US Electrical Services LLC (USESI, Exton, Pa.) Randy Moore has been appointed vice president, vendor relations. Moore, who will retain responsibility for leading the US Electrical expansion in Fla., joined USESI from Sonepar USA where he was vice president of operations for the World Electric Division. Prior to that, he was vice president of sales for the Caribbean and Dade County, Fla., markets. Previously, he was a regional manager for Rexel. Arthur Namerow will remain with the company, reporting to Richard Worthy, chairman and CEO of USESI, as executive vice president. Namerow will continue to work with Worthy on key strategic issues such as acquisition analysis.

Eoff Electric (Portland, Ore.): The company recently announced management responsibility changes. Paul LeVeaux was named vice president/general manager. LeVeaux has served the electrical industry of Oregon since 1982 when he moved from Montana. Dale Denfeld was promoted to vice president — Operations. Denfeld, who has served as director of operations since 2003, will have responsibility over all operations of the company. Jerry Poe was promoted to director of sales. Poe has served as branch manager of Salem, Ore., for the last four years. Poe will have direct responsibility for the Portland metro sales team as well as direction of the entire Eoff sales team working in conjunction with the local branch managers. Dale Mauk was promoted to director of projects for the company. He has served the electrical industry of Oregon and southwest Washington in quoting and project managing large projects since 1993.

Wiseway Supply (Florence, Ky.): Robert (Bob) Sizelove has been promoted to electrical division manager. He will lead the electrical outside sales force, inside sales and commercial quotations in developing strategies that increase market share in the greater Cincinnati market. Sizelove was most recently in outside sales at Wiseway Supply. LaShele Montfort joins the company as branch manager trainee. Montfort most recently worked for an electrical contractor in Lexington, Ky., Dixon Electric, a Wiseway customer. She will initially be assigned to the company's Dry Ridge branch to start her training program.

Stuart C. Irby Co., a subsidiary of Sonepar USA (Jackson, Miss.): Don Corley has been named vice president of purchasing and inventory management. Corley will lead company negotiations with all suppliers and oversee the company's purchasing and inventory management system. Corley held previous positions at Irby as director of purchasing and inventory management as well as in sales, purchasing and operations management within the utility division. He also has responsibility as Irby's Emergency and Disaster Recovery leader.

Naed Appointments

National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED, St. Louis, Mo.): NAED has announced its new board of directors for 2007-2008. Chair of the board is Tammy Miller, CEO of Border States Electric Supply in Fargo, N.D.. Miller has been CEO of Border States since January 2006. She has been a member of the association's board of directors for the past eight years and was Western region vice president. Newly appointed chair-elect is Richard (Dick) Waterman, executive vice president and CEO of International Electric Supply Corp. (IESC). Waterman will work closely with Miller to prepare for assuming NAED board leadership in 2008-2009. IESC is the holding company formed after the Rexel Group's recent acquisition of GE Supply. Waterman has worked in the electrical industry for 40 years. He has served as a board member of the NAED Education & Research Foundation and as chairman of the Electro Federation of Canada.
