Claude L. Brown, 96, passed away peacefully on Sept. 28. He spent 34 years with Westinghouse Electric Corp.'s Lamp Division, with 32 years in Owensboro,

Claude L. Brown, 96, passed away peacefully on Sept. 28. He spent 34 years with Westinghouse Electric Corp.'s Lamp Division, with 32 years in Owensboro, Ky., as general manager of the Ken-Rad Lamp division and two years in Bloomfield, N.J., as national accounts manager. After retiring, he moved back to Kentucky in 1974 and joined his son, Norman L. Brown at Bluegrass Lighting Products, which later became Southland Electric. He is survived by his wife, Josephine Howard Brown, Lexington; son, Norman L. Brown, Lexington; daughter, Mary Brown Eckler, Louisville; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
