Hagemeyer North America, Atlanta, has appointed James Warren chief operating officer. He joined Hagemeyer when it acquired Cameron & Barkley Co. (CamBar) in September 2000. He had previously spent 33 years with CamBar. Warren's new role will be in addition to his current role as CamBar president and chief executive officer. Bob McQuillan has been named vice president of procurement. McQuillan was formerly vice president, materials management for CamBar. Paula Greer was named vice president, organizational effectiveness. She was formerly vice president, organizational effectiveness for CamBar.
AWC Adirondack Data Communications, Woonsocket, R.I., has named Robert Henry director of sales and marketing for all North American distribution sales. He previously served as vice president of a New England datacom distributor.
Cooper Wiring Devices, Long Island City, N.Y., has named Rodney Long vice president of sales for electrical distribution and OEM. He was previously Eastern region vice president of electrical distribution sales at Pass & Seymour/Legrand. Frank Cintron has been appointed director of international sales. He previously held the same title at Thomas & Betts Corp. Dennis Fowler has been named Southeast regional manager. He was previously a regional manager at Pass & Seymour/Legrand. Ken Gunion has been appointed South Central regional manager. He was previously with Pass & Seymour/Legrand.
Kirk Hachigian has been appointed executive vice president, operations for Cooper Industries Inc., Houston. He will be responsible for the five divisions of Cooper's Electrical Products segment: Cooper B-Line, Cooper Bussmann, Cooper Crouse-Hinds, Cooper Lighting and Cooper Wiring Devices. Hachigian most recently was president and chief executive officer of the Asia Pacific Operations unit of GE Lighting based in Cleveland, Ohio.
Richard Bryan has been promoted to national sales manager, datacom for Hoffman, Anoka, Minn. Most recently, Bryan was the Western division sales manager. Dave Buddle has been named national sales manager, electrical. He was previously the Eastern division sales manager. Marty Pint has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing for Hoffman Enclosures. Pint was previously vice president of sales. Curt Steichen has been named Internet business solutions leader for Pentair Enclosures.
Mel Meineke has been named vice president, electrical marketing for Cameron & Barkley, Charleston, S.C. He will unite the marketing efforts of CamBar and Tristate Electrical & Electronics Supply Co., where he has been since 1994. Both companies are now subsidiaries of Hagemeyer N.V.

Jim Kosciolek has been promoted to regional vice president of sales for the South and South Central regions. Kevin Saunders has been named regional vice president of sales for the Eastern and Central regions. Steve Reynolds has been appointed senior district manager for the Carolinas and Eastern Tennessee. OBITUARY
James Schmid, chairman and chief executive officer of Crescent Electric Supply Co. Inc., East Dubuque, Ill., died on Feb. 10. He was 77 years old. Schmid began his career with Crescent in 1944. He became president in 1974, and chairman and chief executive officer in 1992. He was also chairman of the board at Dubuque Bank and Trust Co. and vice chairman of the board of Heartland Financial USA Inc. He is survived by his wife, Mary; a son; four daughters; four grandchildren; two brothers; and three sisters.
