In announcing the changes in a press release, Dan Gray, CEO/owner and Bruce Gray CFO/owner said, “Along with our advisory council, this will help us with our vision and the execution of our strategic plans. We continue to look for new opportunities to grow and solidify our place as a leader in the Electrical wholesale space in New England.

“We have come a long way in 31 years. With a modest beginning, dreams of success, realistic plans and an abundance of hard work, Independent Electric has grown significantly since our founding in 1992. We started with a single location, a few employees, one truck and minimal inventory. Now we have grown into six locations, two sales offices, a National Accounts division and an Energy Services division spread across Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. With the addition of our new CDC, an expanded inventory, a fleet of trucks and many more employees, we are proud of how far we have come. As we continue to invest and grow the business, we have come to an inflection point where we need to add some additional structure at the executive level.”
