Charlie Bradburn was appointed president. Viking Electric serves customers across Minnesota, Wisconsin and Chicago through 23 branch locations and more than 900 associates.
Bradburn joins Viking Electric with over two decades of experience in distribution, including leadership positions at Lyman Companies and its parent company, US LBM Holdings, LLC, where he most recently held the position of Regional Vice President for the Midwest. He holds a B.A. in Financial Management and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of St. Thomas.
“Charlie has a strong track record of aligning strategy with customer needs and building high-performing teams that drive EBIT growth,” said Rob Taylor, president of Sonepar Americas, in the press release. “He’s equally committed to employee engagement and creating clear pathways for associates to build fulfilling careers.”
Bradburn succeeds Stacy Stanslaski, who was appointed VP Business Transformation at Sonepar USA in March and has continued to lead Viking Electric in the interim. In her new role, Stacy is bringing her leadership and strategic expertise to Sonepar’s national transformation initiatives.
Viking Electric, a Sonepar company since 2000, continues to invest in digital solutions, supply chain infrastructure, and associate development. In 2023 Viking Electric acquired Chicago-based Sunrise Electric, solidifying their commitment to serving customers in the nation’s third largest electrical market with value-added services and solutions.
Viking Electric was founded in 1964 in St. Paul, Minnesota as a family-owned electrical distributor with 7,000-square-feet warehouse space and a mission to be a leader in the electrical distribution industry.
Viking Electric has grown to 23 locations across Minnesota, Wisconsin and Chicago, providing exceptional services and logistical solutions to residential and commercial electrical contractors, as well as the industrial market.
