The UK-based CMP Products has appointed Elec-Tech Sales as its manufacturing representative for British Columbia, strengthening the cable management manufacturer’s presence in one of its key Canadian growth markets.

Elec-Tech will represent CMP’s full product portfolio across British Columbia, working with its existing distribution network to build new relationships and develop further opportunities with established partners.

Jamie Hughes, regional manager of the Americas at CMP Products, said in the press release, “British Columbia is an important part of our growth plans for Canada and Elec-Tech gives us significantly greater representation on the ground.

“Their experienced and knowledgeable team know the market, have a strong industry reputation and understand how to build productive relationships with distributors. That combination makes them a great fit for us and will certainly prove a major factor as we seek to grow in this area of Canada.”

Elec-Tech’s key focus will be on CMP’s cable glands, cable cleats and associated products, plus a series of new products that are due to be launched to the Canadian market in the next few months.
