Paul Werthman has been promoted to Western divisional director at FCI/Burndy, Manchester, N.H. and will be based in Las Vegas. He was previously the company's director of marketing.
Tim Brunner has been named regional sales manager at Power/Mation Division, Inc., St. Paul, Minn. Most recently he was president and a minority stockholder at Badger Scale.

At Philips Lighting Co., Somerset, N.J., Jack Jensen has been appointed vice president of sales. He most recently held the senior sales director position. Eric Marsh has been appointed promotional marketing leader of the company's ESCO division. Most recently he served as division manager, industrial sales, for International Paper/XPEDX in Atlanta. Barbara Rentschler has been named strategic marketing leader. She most recently served as manager, strategic alliances, corporate development, for Binney & Smith, Inc.

Cheshire, Robert Tarr and Kenneth Way have been named to the board of directors of WESCO International, the holding company whose primary operating entity is WESCO Distribution, Inc. Cheshire is the chairman, president and chief executive officer of Gerber Scientific. He is a former president of General Signal's Electrical Group and vice president, sales and marketing, of General Signal's O-Z/Gedney division. Tarr, who held top executive positions at Harcourt General and the Neiman Marcus Group, Inc. for more than 20 years, is a director of the John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Co., Houghton Mifflin & Co. and Hannaford Bros., Inc. Way has been chairman and chief executive officer of Lear Corp. since 1988 and is a director of Comerica, Inc., and CMS Energy Corp.
Bob Curran was named branch-operations vice president at Platt Electric Supply Co., Beaverton, Ore. He was previously northern Oregon district manager.
Jack Wells, vice president of corporate development at Pass & Seymour/Legrand, Syracuse, N.Y., has been appointed to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's National Manufactured Home Advisory Council. He was selected to serve in the two-year appointment as an industry sector representative. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development consults the Advisory Council on issues concerning the establishment, amendment or cancellation of federal construction or safety standards.
