DISC Corp.’s new monthly flash update points toward a soft electrical market for the rest of 2016, but Herm Isenstein, DISC’s president, sees solid growth for 2017.
“We expect continued weakness in industry sales for the rest of this year,” he said in this month’s DISC Flash Update. “But we are looking for a 4.7% total industry sales advance for 2017, and expect the distributor-served contractor market to lead with a better than 6.6% growth, followed by a 4.4% increase in the distributor-served industrial market.”
