Wind turbines have a certain raw industrial beauty about them. They stand as stark sentinels on land on at sea, with the most simple yet most complicated of tasks – reach hundreds of feet into the air where the birds fly to catch the sometimes fickle wind and turn it into electricity.
Whether you are fascinated by wind turbines and the wind industry or write it off as just outsized hobby for greenies or a government- financed boondoggle, you have to admit that the sheer scale of them is pretty amazing.
