WinWholesale’s new branch in Holliston Mass., is the first of the Dayton, Ohio-based company’s national network of branches to focus on the renewable energy resources market.

The new company, Framingham Winsupply Co., provides contractors with photovoltaic, solar thermal, geothermal and wind turbine products for residential and commercial use. These products include Evergreen solar panels and Solectria inverters. The branch has a Renewable Energy Showroom displaying its products and serves the Boston metropolitan area, Cape Cod and the islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. The branch’s customers are typically electrical, plumbing and heating, ventilation and air conditioning contractors.

“Renewable energy resources are proven technologies," said Monte Salsman, WinWholesale chief operating officer. "We believe renewable energy companies and their products show a lot of promise as an alternative to fossil fuels and rising costs. The technologies are environmentally friendly and can save consumers money.”

In addition to products, parts and accessories, Framingham Winsupply provides consultation services and training in partnership with Greenfield Community College at the company’s Holliston training center. Participants learn the benefits of renewable energy systems and how to sell, install and service the products to increase their current business. Kevin Price, a 28-year wholesaling industry veteran, is president of Framingham Winsupply.
