Service Wire Company, Houston, recently announced it has acquired lands with plans to build a new manufacturing and distribution facility. This reinvestment will position Service Wire to continue offering American-manufactured wire and cable products in the Gulf Coast and surrounding markets.
Servcie Wire has remained steadfast in the company's commitment to the region and its customers despite the periodic downturns in the market, explained President Louis Weisberg in the release. “We’ve been a staple in the region for more than four decades, and our new, modern facility in Generation Park will allow us to continue to meet the needs of the growing south and southwest,” said Weisberg. “This modern facility will be a launchpad for our next 50 years and beyond, enhancing our industry-leading service levels.”
Generation Park is approximately 13 miles northeast of the company's current location. The new facility will allow for unimpeded access to all of Houston's major transportation corridors, allowing products and people to move with ease.
