IRISS acquires Delta T Engineering

This acquisition plays into IRISS' strategy of becoming a leader in the EMSD market. Delta T Engineering manufactures a wireless monitoring system that detects temperature increases and prevent electrical equipment failures within electrical enclosures caused by poor connections and overloaded circuits.

IRISS, Bradenton, Fla., a manufacturer of electrical maintenance safety devices (EMSDs) market, has acquired  New Jersey-based Delta T Engineering, a 25 year-old privately held company. Delta T Engineering manufactures a wireless monitoring system that detects temperature increases and prevent electrical equipment failures within electrical enclosures caused by poor connections and overloaded circuits.

In a press release announcing the acquisition, Martin Robinson, CEO of IRISS Group, said, "This acquisition plays into our overall company strategy of becoming a leader in the EMSD market. Delta T’s online monitoring system will join our family of EMSDs that currently include infrared (IR) windows, ultrasound ports, and external voltage detection ports." Details
