Hammond Power Solutions (HPS) (Guelph, Ontario): The company appointed industry veteran Ted Simpson to VP of Marketing. He succeeds Michael Frayne, who will transition to the role of senior VP of Power Quality and Power Conversion Solutions.
Simpson has more than 20 years of expertise in the electrical industry and has held key positions at AD as senior VP of Marketing, and at Philips Lighting, where he spent 16 years in a variety of roles, including general manager of Canada and head of Marketing for North America. Most recently, Simpson helped business owners grow their business through his consulting service practice.
According to the press release, he brings extensive experience in product management, sales and strategic marketing to this role, particularly in developing and executing new products and marketing strategies across distribution, consumer and OEM channels with customer and market data.
