Las Vegas, NV: A Top Local Market to Watch in 2027

The Las Vegas-Henderson-Paradise, NV, MSA, has an estimated $1,205.8 million in sales potential.

The Las Vegas-Henderson-Paradise, NV, MSA, may have lost some of its residential building mojo from a few years back when it was one of the nation’s leaders in residential construction, but the metro is still attracting new residents at a rapid rate and never has a problem convincing real estate investors that the Las Vegas Strip could use one more mega-casino.

The difference this time around is the addition of some interesting new projects that we don’t normally see in Vegas, including a $1.75-billion MLB baseball stadium now being built and the multi-billion-dollar high-speed rail that will connect Las Vegas to eager gamblers riding in from Southern California. Toss in  the $10-billion Starr Vegas sports and entertainment development proposed for a location near the Las Vegas Strip and you can why hopes run high for a new riches in Las Vegas construction circles.

Other billion-dollar projects in the pipeline include the $4-billion redevelopment of the Mirage Hotel and Casino into the Hard Rock Las Vegas; $1 billion in redevelopment work at the Harry Reid Airport and the $1-billion Intermountain Nevada Children's Hospital hospital project.
