Madison Electric Products Opens Distribution Center Near Atlanta

Madison Electric Products (MEP), Cleveland, announced the grand opening of a 55,000-square-foot distribution center in Duluth, Ga, that will house more than 2,000 product SKUs. This new location allows for next-day delivery to most customers, as well as same-day service to the local area and standard 1-2 day delivery for most of the Southeastern U.S. The company anticipates shorter transit and lead times, in addition to higher fill rates and market control. Madison will hold an event on March 26 to celebrate the opening.

“We are glad to be in Atlanta,” said MEP’s Director of Operations, Kirk Pace, in a press release. “This new location was strategically chosen to enable us to make service to our customers as simple as possible.”
