Echo Electric, a Sonepar company, will open a new branch in Fort Wayne, IN, expanding its Midwest footprint and strengthening abilities to serve contractors and industrial customers throughout the region. The new facility marks the 65th location for Echo Electric and will add a dozen new jobs to the area. The new location will support construction and industrial projects in the area and focus on electrical contractors and industrial end users.
“Fort Wayne is a strong industrial market, and this new branch will bring customers closer to the products, expertise and specialized services they need to keep facilities online and productive,” said Chris Scarbrough, president of Echo Electric, in the press release. “With Echo Electric’s broad Midwest network and capabilities such as panelboard assembly, we can provide local support backed by resources from across our organization.”
The branch will feature a full-service counter and will-call area, inside sales, branch and account management teams and wire management capabilities. Customers will also have access to Echo Electric’s comprehensive service offering, including Echo Power Center’s quick-ship panel and switchboard services, substation packaging, facility preventive maintenance, vendor-managed inventory services and maintenance, repair and operations (MRO).
Echo Electric’s customers include electrical contractors and customers in the industrial, utility and institutional markets. It offers specialized solutions such as panel and switchboard assembly, control panel design and assembly, cable management services, digital solutions, utility sub-station packages and industrial services.
