Jo-Kell Acquires Pacific Parts & Controls

March 1, 2021
With the acquisition of Pacific Parts, Jo-Kell now has more than 85 employees. The company is ranked #92 on Electrical Wholesaling’s 2020 Top 200 Electrical Distributors ranking.

Jo-Kell Inc., Chesapeake, VA, has acquired Pacific Parts & Controls, Chino, CA, a distributor of industrial electrical and automation products serving Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County and all of Southern California since 1976. Jo-Kell is a woman-owned small business founded in 1977 that serves the military, commercial marine and industrial marketplaces. The company serves customers nationwide, with locations in South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and California.

“Pacific Parts and Jo-Kell share the same corporate values,” said Suzy Kelly, Jo-Kell’s CEO, in the press release. “While there are many similarities in the products, services, and types of customers we serve, it is the corporate values that have been instilled in employees of Pacific Parts that assured us that we had found the right company for our first acquisition. The executive team and staff are very excited to welcome everyone from Pacific Parts to the Jo-Kell family and we look forward to the successes we will achieve together.”

The two companies were founded within one year of each other: 1977 for Jo-Kell and 1976 for Pacific Parts, bringing a combined 99 years of experience and exceptional service to all their business partners. Pacific Parts will continue to operate under their name as a division of Jo-Kell.
