Atkore, Harvey, IL, acquired two companies - Sasco Tubes & Roll Forming Inc., a Canadian manufacturer of metal framing and related products serving the electrical, mechanical, construction and solar industries, and Four Star Industries, a manufacturer of nonmetallic conduit.
Sasco Tubes Roll Forming is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario,and has approximately 50 employees. It will continue operating at its current location. Terms of the sale are undisclosed. “With more than 65 years in the industry, Sasco has developed an extensive range of sizes, gauges and multiple combinations of strut channels and fittings,” Mark Lamps, president of Atkore’s Safety Infrastructure business, said in the press release. “This acquisition complements Atkore’s existing product portfolio and enables us to improve the customer experience by providing a broader range of solutions.”
Four Star Industries manufactures 1/2-inch to 6-inch High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) conduit for the telecommunications, utility, infrastructure and VDV markets. "The acquisition of Four Star Industries meaningfully expands Atkore’s product portfolio and enables us to serve growing markets such as broadband and renewable energy," said John Pregenzer, President of Atkore’s Electrical business, in the press release. "With this acquisition, Atkore continues to improve our position to support the recent infrastructure legislation by delivering solutions to meet nationwide investments."
Four Star Industries is headquartered in Allendale, SC, and has approximately 30 employees. It will continue operating at its current location. Terms of the sale are undisclosed.
