Electrical Equipment Co. buys assets of Atlantic Control Products

Electrical Equipment Co. (EECO), Raleigh N.C., said it has reached an agreement to acquire assets of Atlantic Control Products (ACP), Summerville, S.C.

Electrical Equipment Co. (EECO), Raleigh N.C., said it has reached an agreement to acquire assets of Atlantic Control Products (ACP), Summerville, S.C. ACP is an electrical distributor with specialized services for industrial applications.

“The addition of Atlantic Control Products will enhance our core business in Industrial Automation and Motor Solutions throughout the Charleston to Columbia, SC market area,” said Jack Lawson, president and CEO of EECO.

Closing is planned for mid-December after which the combined business will operate from the EECO location at 7269 Cross Park Dr., North Charleston, S.C.

EECO is #70 on the 2013 Electrical Wholesaling Top 200 list of electrical distributors, with $111.6 million in sales and 13 locations.
